PROJECT IMPACT MANAGEMENT & MONITORING

We undertake the above through formulation of objectives to achieve goals in accordance to available resources and selecting the right course of action

Impact management is also carried out by aiding clients implement mitigation measures in accordance with the schedule of actions contained in the Environmental Management Plan, together with any necessary adjustments to respond to unforeseen impacts or other changes. 

We also carry out environmental monitoring by comparing predicted and actual impacts of a specific project and estimating/examining the efficiency of some of the mitigation measures proposed. Monitoring provides information that is critical to impact management, as well as to making improvements to Environmental Impact Assessment practice. We carry out all types of monitoring including:

vCompliance monitoring (e.g. amount/content of waste or effluent streams);

vMitigation monitoring (whether mitigation actions have been implemented in accordance with an agreed schedule and are working as expected); and

vImpact monitoring (scale and extent of impacts caused by the project).
